Below are the Shopping Malls and Commercial Market in Salalah Oman
Salalah Grand Mall is the largest mall in Salalah, which is right now under final stages of construction. Hope to have this mall in operation by Q1 of 2020. Read more about Salalah Grand Mall
Salalah Gardens Mall is the first modern mall in Dhofar. Before Salalah Grand Mall, this mall was the largest one. Inside you will find shops, food court and restaurants, 4 star hotel, a garden, fountain and kids play area. Read More about: Salalah Gardens Mall
Haffa Souk is the Frankincese market in Salalah, which is also selling traditional clothing and other souvenirs. Located besides beach, this is one of the most visited market by the tourists. Read More About Al Hosn Souq
There is no hotel / resort at the walking distance of the souq, but below are some resorts that are the nearest (also near to another tourists site of UNESCO Heritage Al Baleed Archaeological site):
Al Salam Street Salalah has shops on both sides of the road, selling garments, bags, jewelry, watches, eye wear, sports wear, and other day to day use items. There are some restaurants and hypermarkets as well. This street is one of its kind in Salalah and thus longest street with shopping options on both sides. Nearby Ar Rubat Street also has some shops.
All brands by Landmark group are sold under one roof at Oasis Mall like Center Point, Splash, Home Center, Max, E-Max, Carpisa and others. The mall has started operation in July 2019. Read More About Oasis Mall Salalah
Nahda Center in Saada Salalah has some shops and restaurants. There are some shops at the walking distance as well. The most famous cafe there is Donut Plus.
Al Saada Commercial Market, also known as Al Saada Commercial Complex, or Al Saada Commercial Center, is opposite of Nahda Center and on the same line of Salalah Grand Mall.

Lulu Hypermarket is household name for grocery shopping. There are 2 Lulu outlets in Salalah, one known as Old Lulu, while the other one is Lulu Al Wadi. Besides grocery shopping, there are other shops and food court. Read More About Lulu Hypermarket Salalah
Salalah Gallery Mall is in Saada and has various shops of garments and other household products, and Smile Departmental Store.
This market is located in Raysut, Salalah and is next to Raysut Cement Company. Previously known as Hala Bazar, the commercial town has few shops and selling Chinese goods.
Salalah Gold Souq (also known as Salalah Gold Market) is a place where you can find lots of gold, ranging from pendants to bracelets to rings to necklaces. The shops at gold souq sell jewelry and ornaments for all occasions like wedding, birthday, anniversary or any other event.
Besides gold, you can find a great variety of the silver ornaments and other jewelry and handicrafts.
Nesto Hypermarket opened in Salalah’s western side – Awqad, in February 2020. This is first Nesto store in Salalah, while another one will be opening shortly in Saada.
Nesto Hypermarket in Awqad has 2 floors. On the ground floor, food, grocery, toiletries, poultry, read meal, butchery and bakery sections are located, while on the first floor, electronics, garments and footware sections are present.
Yabalash or Ya Balash is a store where all items are sold for low price. The starting price of all the products is from 200 baiza (0.200 Omani Rial). The maximum price is 2 rials.
There are two stores of Yabalash in Salalah, which are located ideally in Salalah to cater all the residents and tourists. One of them is on western side of the city, in Sanaya area near Awqad and Salalah Airport.
The other one is on the other side of the city (near Millennium Resort Salalah in Saada) and is known as Ya Balash Plus.
Salalah Mall in North Awqad is the most popular landmark for shopping. Awqad is mostly residential area and this shopping area is located in the center of this neighborhood.
Daiso was once the only quality place to get items for less than a rial Omani in Salalah. But since the opening of other rial shops like Ya Balash and Family Rial, it’s quite easy now to find a variety of items below and around one rial. However, Daiso still is different, it sells the Japanese product.
Lulu, Nesto and Carrefour are by far the largest hypermarket chain in Salalah (Read more about Lulu Hypermarket and Carrefour Salalah Gardens Mall). Besides these two, there are some other famous Hypermarkets and Departmental stores in Salalah like Al Mashoor, Mars, K.M. Trading, and Al Istaqrar.
