In the month of March 2015, we planned a hiking expenditure at the highest mountain of the Sahalnoot area in Salalah. We chose evening time for hiking. We had a local guide with us, helping us in deciding which mount to hike and acting as a backup support if required.
We were a group of 9 people, comprising of various nationalities (Dutch, Indian, Tunis, Egyptian, Jordanian, Moroccan). It took us around 2 hours to go to the top and come back. Juices, drinks, water bottles were with us to prevent dehydration.
The experience was great except that we all sweated too much. Good, I lost some pounds (weight), if not kilos 🙂
