How to Go to Empty Quarter Oman?
The nearest Airport to Empty Quarter is Salalah Airport, you can reach Salalah either by Qatar Airways, Oman Airways, Fly Dubai, which have many flights to Salalah Airport every day. You can also reach Salalah by bus from Dubai and Muscat and other parts of Oman. Once you reach Salalah, you need to book day trip to Empty Quarter Oman with a tour operator. There are couple of companies offering the day trip, sunset trip and night stay trip to this renowned sand desert. I have traveled with Meeting Point Oman.
Important Note
Since this is an area where there is no Mobile Network and the desert is not much populated, so its highly recommended not to try to go there alone. Must travel in groups with a recognized tour operator.
