Duqm is a coastal city on the Arabian Sea in Al Wasta Governorate of Oman. The city has a port – Port of Duqm and an airport – Duqm Airport. The Duqm Special Economic Zone Authority (SEZAD) manages, regulates, and develops all economic activities in the city.

Duqm is geographically located at the center of Oman. The city is around 500 kilometers west of Muscat, 6 hours by road or 1 hour 15 minutes by flight. Salalah is on the western side of Duqm, some 600 kilometers away and 6 and a half hour drive away.
