Askari Star Mall is the largest and only mall inside Malir Cantonment (Malir Cantt), the gated and one of the best living communities in Karachi. This is the only air-conditioned mall in Malir District of Karachi. However, the access to the mall is limited to the residents of Malir Cantt and their friends and families.

Askari Star Mall comprises of three levels – Ground, First and Second.

The Ground Level

The ground level of the mall has couple of branded stores for garments, footwear, books and grocery shopping.

Ideas by Gul Ahmed

Gul Ahmed is a renowned brand of clothing in Pakistan for both men and women. The outlet in Askari Mall features ready-made and unstitched Shilwar Kameez and its variants, bedding and bath related stuff like bed sheets and towels. Once you enter the mall from the main entrance, Ideas store is the first one on the right side.

Bonanza Satrangi

Opposite of Ideas store, is Bonanza Satrangi outlet. This store sells clothing for both men and women. The store, however, is not big in the mall.

Eden Robe

This mini store sells ready and unstitched ladies two piece garments (Shilwar and Kameez), fragrances and kids clothing. No men option was found. Eden Robe outlet is on the right side after Ideas.

Book Mart

Book Mart is one of the famous book stores in Malir Cantt. The shop sells books on various genre including syllabus books for institutes, fiction and religious books. Other stationary and gift items are also sold.

Borjan

This outlet sells formal and party wear footwear for ladies and men and ladies handbags. Borjan store is located besides the book shop and opposite of Eden Robe.

Zamzam and Pie in the Sky

Zamzam is a departmental store, selling groceries, beverages, dairy products, and other house hold items. Bakery items including Cakes and pastries are sold by Pie in the Sky, which is located inside Zamzam.

Zamzam is named after the water in Makkah that came out of the land when Hazrat Ismail, son of Prophet Ibrahim, rubbed his feet on the ground at the young age when he was thirsty. Since then Zamzam well exists and Muslims when go on pilgrimage to the Holy city of Makkah drinks this water.

First Level

Via escalators, the visitors can go from ground to the first level. On the first level some shops are open while some will be opening soon.

Kayseria

Kayseria is another store selling garments in the mall. The store is bigger than the other stores located on the ground and first floor, except for Ideas and Zamzam. Kayseria is a ladies garment retailer.

Zonah’s

Zonah’s is another footwear store in the mall located next to Kaseria on the right side when you come from the escalator.

Second Level

There’s food court and Playstation on Level 2, which is the top most level of Askari Mall.

Food Court

Some of the restaurants are opened notably Burger Lab and Broadway Pizza, while others will be opening soon.

There’s ample sitting place to eat the food on 2nd level.

Funstar

Funstar is the Playstation for kids on the extreme end of the second floor.

Outside of Askari Mall

Outside the mall there’s Parking area, Barbeque Tonight Restaurant (Bar B. Q. Tonight), KFC Malir Cantt, Pak China Departmental store and main Cantonment Masjid.
