Armenis is a Halal Food restaurant in Paphos, Cyprus, a city around an hours drive from Larnaca on the western side of the island.
From Tombs of the Kings, I drove the car to Armenis, and it took us around 12 minutes to reach there. It was a beautiful evening in December. We reached the restaurant at 5pm.

Armenis Restaurant serves delicious halal meal to both Muslims and Non-Muslims diners in this island country. But its ideal for Muslims because they can find Halal food here, which is a kind of food that doesn’t include any forbidden ingredient as per Islamic principles.
Armenis doesn’t serve alcohol, and its very rare to find such a restaurant in Cyprus.
This is the only restaurant in Cyprus that mentions Halal proudly in full size (in Arabic in red color with white background) on the board outside the restaurant.
It is a family run restaurant and I could see that they were putting efforts to serve better. They speak English well.
They have starters, sandwiches, grills and oven items. The starters include Salad, Fattoush, Tabbouleh, Hummus, Eggplant salad, and others. The price for the starters range from one Euro to four Euros.
Various types of sandwiches are available, like Halloumi, cheese, Falafel, Kebab and Chicken. We didn’t eat sandwich so cannot rate any of these.
We ordered from the Grill section, which has three combos to choose from. The first combo comprises of Chicken, salad, pickles and mayonnaise, and costs 12 Euros.
The second combo has half chicken, salad, pickles and mayonnaise. This one costs 6 Euros.
The third and last combo in the grills comprises of 1 kilogram of kebabs, salad and mayonnaise. It costs 20 Euros.
For the rice selections, Armenis has options of rice with chicken or rice with meat. Both options cost 7 Euros.
They also serve tea, coffee, water and soft drink in the beverages. As I mentioned earlier, this restaurant doesn’t serve alcohol, which makes it a perfect halal outlet.
They cook fresh food after your order. For our order serving, it took around 20 minutes.
There’s a wide variety of Arabic sweets to choose from. They are ready and are showcased just besides the entrance.
There were 4 to 5 tables in a homely ambiance. Don’t expect modern setup. It’s pretty basic, but nice, clean and small setup.
The covers on the chair shows birds inside the heart. I didn’t like it personally, but that is not an issue.
A baby seat was provided to cater little customers.
For inquiry and take away, the restaurant phone number is 26955188 and 99543493. When we were eating there, we saw couple of persons who were taking take aways, specially for bread, bakery items and sweets.
The restaurant is located at the junction of Highway B7 and E710. Check the Google Map Location of Armenis Restaurant
There is a little parking space in front of the restaurant, like for 2 to 3 cars.
