The royal palace, Al Husn Palace Salalah, is located besides Haffa Beach and Haffa Souq. Al Husn, an Arabic word, means Fort in English. This is the palace of Sultan of Oman.
The palace is not open to public and you cannot pass beyond this main gate of the palace.
Al Husn Palace main gate has National emblem of Oman on both of its sides. The national emblem of Oman (شعار سلطنة عمان) is an insignia that consists of a khanjar inside its sheath, which is superimposed upon two crossed swords. The emblem is in golden color with black background.
