Al Ghad is another Pakistani restaurant located on 23rd July Street in Salalah, the southern city in Oman famous for its old Frankincense trade, Prophets’ Tomb and monsoon season.

The restaurant is adjacent to another Pakistani restaurant Al Kutani Restaurant in the City Center, near the iconic Sultan Qaboos Masjid. There is ample car park besides the restaurant. This is one of the best Pakistani Restaurants in Salalah.

Sitting Area

The sitting area for men and for families is different like the other restaurants in Salalah.

Men sitting area has table arrange across the artificial garden. The hall is air conditioned and has a counter where the cashier is sitting.

The family area comprises of couple of small cabins with sliding doors. When you need the waiter, all you have to do is to press the calling bell button. The bell is mounted inside the cabin itself, so you will also listen the bell.

The entrance to the family cabins is also separate than the men hall entrance.

Breakfast at Al Ghad Restaurant

In addition to the lunch and dinner, the restaurant serves Pakistani breakfast like Halwa Puri, Paratha with egg and other items like Daal, Chana, Nihari and Paya.

When my wife’s parents were here in Salalah for Khareef 2019, we took them for breakfast one time to Qadri Restaurant and one time to Al Ghad. Photos are as of July 2019.

Lunch and Dinner at Al Ghad Restaurant Salalah

My wife really liked Dhaka Fish, which is without curry and is served with french fries. The naan is good too.
