Easy Hotel Jabel Ali a budget hotel, located in Jebel Ali Free Zone (JAFZA). This hotel is better and cleaner than the cheap hotels in Deira and Bur Dubai. Also the rates are cheap.
The following are the key things about the hotel:
- The room and bathroom are very small. However, they were clean and better than the hotels (with same daily rates) in Deira area of Dubai.
- Cheaper rates than the other hotels in Dubai.
- There is nothing that you can expect from this hotel without paying for it. If you want the room to be cleaned daily, also pay for it. Internet is paid.
- The check-in time is very late and they will not let you check-in before without the additional payment. They will see the clock and when its 3pm, then they will let you in. You will see a lot of people in the reception at 3pm. Also at the check-out time, you will see many people in the reception as you have to checkout at the check-out time without any delay.
- The hotel is far away from Dubai main attractions. Its the last stop of metro. When you get out of metro, you will not be allowed to get out of the metro station without showing them hotel reservation or hotel card as this metro station is in Jebel Ali Free Zone (JAFZA). The walk from the metro station to the hotel is not a good one as you will be looked by the industrial workers as you are an alien. Also metro will be empty by this destination, except working hours.
- Finding a taxi from this hotel is very difficult as this is located inside the industrial zone.
- A lot of time will be wasted in travelling to the tourist destinations of Dubai from this hotel.
- No place to eat near this hotel except the hotel restaurant.
- No shop or departmental store to buy anything near this hotel.
Why we stayed in this hotel?
We stayed in this hotel in Oct 2013 during Eid Holidays. We only booked this hotel as the other hotels were full for Eid Holidays or were very expensive. Even we did not find the complete week reservation in this hotel and stayed in another hotel for the remaining dates of the week.
Final Verdict:
Easy Hotel is highly recommended for those who have their own car and want just a bed to sleep. The rooms are clean and a nice place to sleep.
Not at all recommended for those who will do traveling in metro or taxi or want a good room and a big bathroom.
